The Dame Edna Experience is the talk show to beat all talk shows as the irrepressible Australian unleashes her spiked wit and charm on a host of international celebrities including Jerry Hall, Charlton Heston, Sean Connery, Jane Fonda and Chubby Checker.
Everage describes the show as “an intimate conversation between two friends, one of whom is a lot more interesting than the other”.
Written by and starring Australian satirist Barry Humphries, the series aired for the first time in 1987. It was directed by Ian Hamilton and Alasdair MacMillan and produced by London Weekend Television.
Programming Note: Due to some later simulcasts of 60 Minutes throughout the fall, The Dame Edna Experience will air at Midnight CT only on the following Sundays: Sept. 16 & 23, Oct. 7 & 21, Nov. 4 & 18, Dec. 2, 16 & 30.
Also airs Mondays at 3:00AM
